Past FASD Trainings and Other Presentations

Over the years, I’ve presented and trained others on a variety of mental health topics. I didn’t keep the greatest records in the late 1990s, but most of the ones after 2001 are listed below.

Up until 2011, I based my presentations mostly on my clinical experiences with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), foster care & adoption issues, juvenile delinquency & conduct disorder, school & learning problems, personal & historical trauma, developmental trauma & posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Theraplay ®, EMDR & Somatic Experiencing ®.

Since 2011, I’ve had the unearned blessing of being a foster parent, and wow… does that bring in more perspective. Mostly, I’ve learned to follow my own advice, but also how hard it can be to follow that advice.

Mostly, I don’t have electronic copies or power points for these, but many will be in my ebook series about FASD, which will start being released in 2014. Thanks!
